European Social European Social Innovation Competition
Boosting social innovation by awarding projects. Opens again March 20, 2018. Up to 200k of funding. open to individuals, groups and organisations across the European Union and in countries participating in the European Horizon 2020 programme.

European Fund for Strategic Investments
Innovative equity instruments developed to support social enterprises . EUR 30m earmarked for social incubator/Accelerators alongside financial intermediairies. Deadline of May 2018 though.

EU Programme for Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI)
Supporting access to finance for social enterprises through a €190+m Microfinance and Social Entrepreneurship axis. Runs until 2020. SESOs could qualify for EaSI Capacity Building Investments Window calls.

European Social Fund (ESF)
Major EU financial instrument to support employment and social cohesion, implemented by EU member states through Operational Programmes. Apply on country level. Open until 2020.
EU level funding for (Enterprises)
Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme
Programme helps provide aspiring European entrepreneurs with the skills necessary to start and/or successfully run a small business in Europe. New entrepreneurs gather and exchange knowledge and business ideas with an experienced entrepreneur, with whom they stay and collaborate for a period of 1 to 6 months. Covers travel and subsistence costs during the visit. Only for start-up or >3 yrs business. Not a focus on scale-up.

COSME
COSME is the EU programme for the Competitiveness of Enterprises and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). It runs from 2014 to 2020 with a planned budget of €2.3bn. Various tenders, loans and equity.
